Etienne Blumstein-Jones
Etienne brings a wealth of experience in both high-performance sport and sports therapy, having worked with a diverse range of athletes, including teams from Rugby Union and NRL, AIS gymnasts, para-swimmers, and elite runners and cyclists.
As an accomplished athlete himself, Etienne competed as an elite-level amateur cyclist, racing in the National Road Series across Australia and internationally in France, Belgium, and New Caledonia from 2011 to 2014. After transitioning to running, he continued to achieve at the highest level, representing Australia in the 2017 and 2018 Mountain Running World Championships. In 2017, he also earned a 3rd place finish at the Australian Mountain Running Championships.
Etienne specializes in treating lower back and hip issues, as well as addressing running and cycling-related injuries for athletes of all levels. His personal experience with sports injuries has provided him with a unique perspective, enabling him to understand the nuances of treating and managing common conditions in endurance sports.
Outside of his professional work, Etienne is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys capturing the beauty of his running and cycling adventures through photography, often paired with a well-deserved pastry and coffee along the way.
